1) Remove the guitars scratch plate.

2)Remove one of the tone controls and all the wires connected to it. The middle pickup control is probably the easiest.

3) Fit the Neck Adder in place of the tone control.

4) Connect one of the white wires from the neck adder (it doesn’t matter which) to the terminal on the five way selector where the neck pickups hot wire is soldered. This terminal should have two wires connected when you have finished.

5) Connect the other white wire from the Neck Adder to the hot side of the volume control, as in the diagram.

6) Connect the earth wire (black) from the Neck Adder to to any convenient earth point in the guitar’s control cavity. The back of one of the other controls is a possibility.

6) Fitting is now complete and you can reassemble your guitar.
